We are Home!!!

We have made it home from a wonderful vacation. We had a wonderful visit with family in Florida and a great time in Disney World. As you can imagine I took a lot of photos (over 1700). So as you can imagine it will take me a while to get more photos on here.

Highlights of trip.
Juliette's first plane ride went smooth. She sleep and played and never cried during the plane ride.

It rained Saturday. When I say rain I mean it was a Monsoon. REALLY it was the most rain the Tampa area had received in one period since 1952. When we left the condo the water was up to mid tire in some spots. It really scared me. But we made it.

We visited the Parrish side of the family. We enjoyed visiting with Grandma and Grandpa and Pam. I am sure the kids made them exhausted. Because both of them were on full blast while there.
We visited the Nannie (Taylor). We had fun visiting her also. She tried to feed the kids everything.

We played on the Beach and in the pool with Gran B, Poppa G and Uncle Mitch. Below is the picture of Jackson attempting to write his name in the sand all by himself. I didn't even know he was doing it until he came and got me to show me. Juliette love to eat the sand so we had to put her in a baby pool and Jackson enjoyed it also.

We took Jackson one night crabbing (first time ever). It was Hilarious. If you ask Jackson about it this is his exact words "They snap snap at Mommy" while using the snapping motion with his hands. Jackson would throw the net at the crabs hoping they would crawl in. Jonathan would basically chase them towards Jackson and I(the reason they snap snap at me). I went to catch one and chopped him in half, LOL. So we are definitely not professionals.

Juliette decided she LOVES bread and will not eat her food when we are all at the table. Jackson and her loved the bread at the Columbian.

We visited with Elisa, Emma Jo and Kaliegh. We also visited Tiffany and Hunter. All of which in Orlando.

Last but not least we went to Disney World. We attended the Mickey's Not so Scarey Halloween Party. We went as Peter Pan-Jackson, Tinkerbell-Juliette, Jon-Jonathan, and Wendy-Jennifer. This will have to be another long post.

As you can read we did a lot in a little time. But we did have a great time. More to come on Disney.

Juliette - 9 months Old

I feel like I just blogged(yesterday) about her turning 8 months. WOW!! Anywho! She is getting around pretty darn good. She follows her momma 75% of the time and Jackson 25%. Here are the 9 things I want to remember or milestones she has accomplished.

1. Juliette's hair is now a head full, She has "bangs" because that part of the hair is what is left from when she was born. I have been tempted to cut it but I have always been told it is bad luck to cut a baby's hair before they tum one. I know not true but i don't want to chance it.

2. You can now pull up on almost everything. So I know walking is just right around the corner. When she pulls up she just smile because she knows she has accomplished something. Plus to her it was hard work.

3. Juliette loves to "play" with Jackson. Play consist of her screaming (a fun scream) or laughing as Jackson does something around her. BUT she almost insist that Mommy or Daddy is setting on the floor also.

4. She is still a Mommy's girl. Separation anxiety is just right around the corner.

5. She now has two front bottom teeth with another that can felt but not seen. She still loves chewing on stuff (hands).

6. Change her diaper is becoming a chore because she wants to be on the go.

7. Juliette loves the the bath tub. We give them a bath together and she loves it. BUT hates to get her face washed or even wiped.

8. She loves to cuddle with me right before I put her in her bed at night. She has her cereal bottle then she turns and wants on my shoulder to put her face on my chest and we cuddle. I LOVE IT. Matter of fact I do it every night because i love it so much. Plus Jonathan doesn't mind. Then when you get up in the morning it is a race between Jackson and me to get to see you first. Jackson is so good with her and he loves her. I love to get in there first to see her beautiful smile in the mornings.

9. I LOVE YOU DUDDERS (my nickname for her, don't ask?). It is true that when you have more then one child your heart gets bigger. I love both of my children.

2009 First Football Game

GO DAWGS GO!!
We had a fun time at the first football game of the season, even though we got wet. It rained right before the game started for about 20 minutes and then again off and on during the first quarter. But it was still fun. Like always i took a lot pictures. Jackson had a great time at the Junction before the game started and sleep most of the game. That was my favorite part was holding him in my arms, it is not that often that i get to do that. I have 4 favorite pictures then I made collages of the rest. Enjoy!

Look what Season it is....

I could have swore I heard Jonathan singing "It's the most wonderful time of the year....." LOL!! You got it folks! It is football season. I am excited also. I use to love this season because of the games but now I love it because it is time that Jackson looks forward to, to spend fun time with his daddy. He calls it "hautball", like i said in previous post we are working on speech, hahahaha. GO DAWGS GO!!!!! In the words of Jackson "Where's my bell?" Can I get a "Who let the Dawgs OUT, Woof, WOOF, WOOF!!!" "More COWBELL, PLEASE!!!!"
DO DAWGS GO!!!!!!!

Hopefully State will not be the "butt" of all the jokes this season. LOL!!

Jackson aka "Jackman"

It has been awhile since I have posted about my first baby, Jackson. He is getting to be such a big boy. He is still very full of energy. He is taking and a soccer class and he loves to run around. He enjoys the class for the first 45 minutes (an hour class) then he is ready to go, which we don't let him. He is also still in speech but he is improving. Here are some things I want to remember about him at 3 and a half (almost 4).

1. He loves on his sister so much i have to tell him to stop. He makes my life a lot easier because he entertains Juliette. He is a good big brother. I always said I would not depend on the older child but in away i do depend on him.

2. He is so handsome. He looks so much like his daddy. I love to stare at him. His smile can make a bad day good. He has the kindest soul. The cuddles are starting to get few and far between but i cherish every moment.

3. He is so silly. One of his favorite things to do is to fist pump. This is where he puts his fist up and yells "FIST PUMP" and you hit his fist and he throws his hands back and does a "pppsssshhhh" sound. So cute. He also loves to sing. I sing to him when I put him in bed and he won't let me leave until we run through the song list which includes: Jesus loves me, You are my Sunshine, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Hush Little Baby and the new addition is Baby Bumble Bee. I am going to get him on tape and post it here in the next couple of weeks. I love it! He has a book of Thomas Songs (thanks NANNA!!) and he loves to sing the songs. He makes Jonathan sing those at night.

4. He currently has an obsession with Thomas the Train, Transformers, and Phineas and Ferb. In that order. Anything in these categories he loves!!

5. He loves to help. If you use the word "help" he will be the first to volunteer. He "helps" me cook, wash and fold clothes, wash bottles, etc.... So as you can see he can be a BIG help (every little bit counts).

6. He has the BEST memory. It surprises me sometimes how good his memory is. He will repeat stuff (the stuff you don't want to keep hearing) weeks after you say or do something. This is why we have not told him yet we are going to Disney this month because he would not let it go until we get there and drive us crazy, LOL.

I love this baby so much. I hope one day (probably when he has kids) he realize how much I love him.
