Valentine

Jonathan and I are going to start a new tradition which is saying that "CUPID" comes to visit the kids on the night before Valentine's. Just to see the excitement in their faces. Jackson loved it. Cupid brings a couple of little items. This year he brought a Lighting McQueen Hat, Madagascar Movie and a Kung Fu Panda Puzzle with a Balloon (monkey). Jackson was excited. Juliette sleep through the excitement, hahaha. Her favorite position lately is laying on my lap. Once she gets that way her eyes close and she is off to sleep.

We had a quiet Valentine's Day we went to the park. Juliette and I observed Jackson and Daddy (it was a little chilly) from the car. The funny thing is Jonathan asked Jackson if he wanted to go get Ice Cream (as a bribe to get him off the playground) and ten seconds later the Ice Cream Truck pulls up, chimes and all. Next time Jonathan is going to ask Jackson if he wants a million dollars, maybe that will happen 10 seconds later, hahahaha.

As mentioned in previous post we have started giving Juliette cereal in her bottle (not much) at night. Here is the result.

Juliette's 2 month Check up

We went today for Juliette's 2 month check up. NO FUN!!! She had to have 4 shots. I make Jonathan go to help hold her down. I start crying so i am no help. It is hard to watch your baby hurting even though it is for the best. But she did good. She weighed 10lbs 9 oz and is 22.5 inches long. She is 45% for her weight and 50% for her height, She has a small head (don't remember size), 25% percentile. The Dr put her on reflux meds because of her new thing. Which is her screaming and not being able to swallow and catch her breath (she almost turned blue on me yesterday). Also she likes to sleep sitting up in her carrier and not laying down in bed, during the day. Also we have given her cereal in her bottle at night and she has slept through the night (10pm to 5 am). So all indicates reflux. She just does not spit up very often but she does not eat much in one sitting either. So maybe the meds will help. AND everyone said she was just spoiled from me holding her, HA she has a medical reason for being fussy. She has sleep ALL day today, she just woke up to eat and back to sleep. She is running a low grade temp, 99.5. I was told all this is normal plus Jackson did the same thing. Also when the Dr flip her over to see how she does the dr was amazed. Juliette scooted about an inch and started putting her knees under her. The dr said "wow, get ready for an early crawler and walker." I don't know rather to laugh or cry.

Here are some pics of her. The individual one is her today.

Aunt Angelia - MCC Homecoming Court

This past weekend Angelia (my sister) was on the homecoming court for MCC. We were so excited for her. She was and is so pretty.

Circus Jan 09

Well i am way behind on blogging!! HAHA! We went to the circus in January and we had a good time. Jackson enjoyed, as you can tell in the pictures he would not take his eyes off of it!! It was freezing cold that night so i had Ms Juliette bundled up for the walk to the circus. I only have one complaint is that the circus starts at 7:30 at night so by the end of it Jackson was exhausted from the day. But oh well we had a good time. Let me give credit to my hubby, he took the pictures this time. It is hard to handle two kids and a camera (but i will master it i promise!)
