Beautiful

I may have a bias opinion but i think my children are beautiful! Both of them. We went to Cathy's for another photo shoot this past weekend. We got some good ones of Juliette but none of Jackson. Lesson learned, Jackson did not have a nap therefore was not in the mood to take pictures. So here is our favorite of Juliette.

Caught in the Act - FINALLY

I finally caught Juliette SMILING, when i had a camera in hand!! Isn't the cutest thing?!!!!!

Juliette - 6 weeks old

WOW!! I can't believe that it has been 6 weeks since Juliette's arrival!! Time has flown by. She is a good baby! And perfect in my eyes!!

The past 6 weeks have taught me a lot! First thing is when you go to blog baby will wake up, hahaha! No seriously, i have learned that you CAN love the second one as much as the first!

What i have learned about Juliette is that she is different then Jackson. She does not like to eat a lot (more the 3 oz) in one feeding. She prefers breast milk over the formula (which is something i can't produce a lot of).She has yet to sleep through the night and that does not really bother me (i enjoy looking into her eyes in the peace of the night). She would rather be sitting up then laying down. She would LOVE for someone to hold her 24 hours a day (yes she is spoiled). She has the smallest feet! She will only smile if there is no camera around (which is torture to me). She prefers mommy over daddy (which is an adjustment for me since Jackson preferred Jonathan). She doesn't really spit up a lot. She is aware of her surroundings especially when mommy tries to go out of the house (she refuses to sleep when we are trying to do something outside the home). She prefers to sleep in mommy and daddy's bed (but we won't let her until after 5 am, strange rule i know). She loves to be talked to. All this is the exact opposite (other then the talking to) from Jackson!!! So yes i realize that children can be totally different.

Juliette smiled for the first time about 2 weeks ago. I was changing her diaper and talking to her then she smiled. I am pretty sure it wasn't from gas (hahaha), which she does have a lot of!!! She has since smiled for Jonathan and my mom. Like i said previously she refuses to do it when i have a camera in hand!!! She also is starting to discover her tongue, she loves to watch someone roll their tongue around and then she sticks hers out (its funny).

Juliette rolled from her stomach to her back on Monday (exactly 6 wks). She was laying in her bed i had just come in from the dr and was talking to her and over she went. I was shocked! I am not sure when baby usually do this but i thought WOW my child is strong (hahahaha).

I look forward to watching this little angel grow up. But i wish she could stay small for a little bit longer!!!!

Celine Dion

My mom and i went to see Celine Dion last night. WOW!!! It was a great concert. I took picture (even though i was not suppose to). We had a great time.

GO GATORS!!!

OK! If you know me or my husband you know we are bulldog fans. But my husband is a Gator by "birth" (hahaha) and i married into the Gator family. So naturally our kids will be bulldogs but with a family history of gator. Also we both hate the nasty rebels. So all this said we cheer for the Gators as long as they are not playing the Bulldogs. Plus lately with the Bulldogs record we need some happiness. So CONGRATS to the Gator Nation on a National Championship! I dressed the kids up to celebrate (thanks to Poppa G and Gran B for providing the attire).

MY AUNT KACKYN

I just thought i would tell everyone how much i love and miss my Aunt Kackyn (Kathryn). She was a wonderful and very loving women. She loved her family and we loved her. I find myself rocking my children and thinking about her and hating the fact that they will not get to know her. But i know she is watching over us, amazingly i can feel her in my presences sometimes. It is 3 years today she passed. I know her children miss her more then i do but i still miss her ALOT!! I wish i could talk to her. I know my mom miss her also!! We all have holes in our hearts but peace knowing she is in a better place!! LOVE YOU AUNT KACKYN!!! Chris and Barbra if you read this i miss and love you guys also!!!

My New Camera

One of my Christmas presents was a new Camera (Canon Rebel). If you know me you know i LOVE to take pictures. So i am having fun with my new camera. I try to talk Jackson into being my model but he just looks at me and says "NOPE", yes that is he is exact word. Here are a few of my shots, i know i need practice.





YES that is a Gator uniform Jackson has on!!! Thanks Poppa G and Gran B!!! Since Jonathan, Gran B and Poppa G are going to the National Championship Game i thought i would support the Gators! so GO GATORS!!!!! Good luck!!!

Happy New Year, 2009!

I hope everyone had a wonderful new year! We celebrated by sleeping through midnight but had a party in Juliette's room at 3am, HAHAHAHA!!!

As i reflect back on 2008 so much runs through my mind! WOW! It was a very blessed year for us! To think back to Jan 2008 it was a different life for us. We had not even really seriously talked about having another child. BUT we were/are blessed to say the least. We were so busy in 2008 trying to get ready for Juliette, which included spending as much time as possible with Jackson.
