Merry Christmas!! Happy Birthday Jesus!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We did! Santa brought Jackson the McQueen Bike he asked for and A LOT of other stuff. Juliette got a couple of toys including a Middleton Baby Doll and "My first Baby Doll. Nanna continued the tradition of Holiday Barbies. We are truly blessed! Juliette sleep MOST of the day. So we got to spend a lot of time with the Jackman. He "helped" open everyone gifts. I think we have put together at least 10 puzzles today. When i say "we" i mean him, really he can do it by himself (24 piece puzzles). I think that is amazing. All we do is praise him when he finishes. For the first time we stayed in Birmingham and everyone came here. It was nice. But i am sure we will be going back to Meridian next year.

You can tell when you take to many pictures of your child when.... Jackson wanted to hold "the baby" so i put her in his lap. He started kissing her on her head. Then he looked at me and said "Momma...Where's the camera?"

Lesson learned: Don't take Jackson to pick out presents if you buy two people the same thing....He helped Jonathan open up a gift which was socks and started screaming "BunkBunk" then grabbed them and took them to BunkBunk. I give my dad socks every year this year included. We bought the socks over a month ago and he remembered we bought Bunkbunk socks. HAHAHA!!!

Thanks to the family. We love you guys (as Jackson would say - his favorite word lately - guys)!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!!!!!!!
Merry Christmas!!!!!!!

Our BABIES!

We had a photo shoot with my friend Cathy this weekend. Here are a couple of pictures of the two of them together. Jackson is doing good with her. If she is not around he ask "Wheres baby?" and he calls her sister. He is starting to give her kisses, which is sweet. But his listening skills have somehow disappeared, so we are working on that. Thank God that "Santa is watching". But he is doing better then what i had thought. I just knew he would act out but he has done very well. He must have his daddy's patience (or his mom's thinking how to work it skill) HAHAHA!!!

Home Sweet Home, Juliette

It was finally real when we took Juliette home. Months of planning and waiting and wondering had finally came to an end (only to the beginning of new ones). Jonathan and i where all alone in bringing her home but that made it very special to us. We finally left the hospital around 5pm that night. We waited so late due to me and my hormones couldn't decide whether to leave or stay one more night, hahahaha. Also the day we left they had predicted snow. If your from the south you know the world comes to an end if it snows or even at the mention of snow. (it didn't snow) But we made it home in the five o'clock traffic "Welcome to Birmingham and HWY 280, Juliette. Jackson greeted us at the door with "HEY Mommy and Daddy" and to Nanna with out stretched arms.

Jackson's interaction with Juliette has been lets say short. He calls her "baby sister." When he saw her the first time he just said "baby" and then i asked him where Juliette was and he came over to me and pointed to my somewhat still big tummy. He has given her a couple of kisses. We have tried not to force her on him and let him take on that initiative. He is starting to show her toys. Yesterday it was Thomas the Train (by the way that was her "present" to him) and today he showed Woody and woody gave Juliette kisses. So he is coming around. I am just glad he has not rebelled.

We have been busy since getting home. But thanks to my mom she has cooked and cleaned for us. THANK YOU MOM!!!! I am also posting pics of Juliette's first bath which she did not like. She likes getting her hair washed but not the bath!!

I am sad for tomorrow my sweet husband goes back to work. I will miss him. If i haven't told everyone lately how much i love this man, let me say "I LOVE HIM". He is so good with both Jackson and Juliette. I just wish we where independently wealth so we could both stay home. I will miss you baby. I love you!!!

This c-section was a breeze compared to the last one. I was up and going pretty much the next day. I am still on pain meds. Sometimes i try to over do and i'll catch myself in a world of pain. So i am trying to get a lot of rest (easier said then done). I go tomorrow to the dr to get my staples removed maybe this will also help with the pain.

Well Juliette is starting to wake up so i must go for now. Again thanks to everyone for their prayers and well wishes!! A BIG THANK YOU TO MY WONDERFUL MOM!!!!!! I hope i can be as great of a mom as you.

PICTURES (As promised)

OK!OK! We heard you. Here are some pictures. Just remember you ASKED FOR IT!!!!

"You are my Sunshine"

Where to start?! As i sit here tonight anticipating tomorrow, so many thoughts are running through my head. I have so many emotions i can't decide where to start. For some reason the song lyrics "This is the day that Lord had made" keeps running through my head and "You are my Sunshine". Why? Who knows? Juliette will be joining the family bright and early in the morning. As i am typing she is kicking like crazy. I will miss those kicks and turns with all my heart. I love the feeling that this little miracle is inside me depending on me for everything. She is safe and warm and has no worries. I can keep her safe and protected. I will miss having her there. Her kicks are very sweet. I will miss her hiccups. Which always make me laugh. I have tried to treasure this pregnancy, even the not so goods. I am sad because this journey is coming to an end. BUT so excited that another one is about to begin. I will get to see and meet this beautiful little girl tomorrow. I wonder who she will look like. I wonder if she will have my eyes or Jonathan's. IF she will have Jonathan's nose or mine. I wonder? Will she have a head full of hair? Will she be small or big? How long will she be? So much we will find out tomorrow. Whoever she looks like I know she will be a beautiful GIFT from God. I can't wait to meet my second miracle.

I also sit here worried about my first miracle, Jackson! How will he react? What will he do? I love him! I know his world will totally change tomorrow. I just pray that he will adjust. We have tried to prepare him but what do you do. I know he will love her.

Oh, the reason i am singing sunshine song is because Jackson has just started singing "You are my sunshine". Him and I sing that every night before i put him to bed. My mom use to sing this song to me. So this song is special to me and it tickles me to death he sings it. I can't wait to sing it to her also, of course with Jacksons help.

I can't wait to meet her! We already love her so much!!!

Seeing Santa and Putting up the Christmas Tree

We went to see Santa this weekend at Brookwood. Jackson was so excited! When he saw Santa he took off at full speed and TACKLED Santa. Santa let out a BIG "HOHOHOHO-HA". Thank god there was no line because Jackson would have knock out anyone in his way. Jackson asked for a "Qeen Bike" aka Lightening McQueen Bike.

We also put up the Christmas tree. Jackson was a little elf DIRECTOR or DICTATOR. He loved telling us where to put ornaments. He truly is his mother's son, hahahaha.

3 years Old - Dec 1, 2008

I hope you had a wonderful Birthday. You had a birthday cookie cake at school. You also officially started 3K - Preschool today. We love you!!!

Baby Update - 37.5 wk and Baby Showers

We went to the Dr yesterday. Everything is still going good. Her heart rate was jumping around in between 160 and 180. The reason so high is because i had a couple of contractions but she is ok! She is starting not be as active but that's because she is out of room. I am measuring 38 wks. All my stats are still good, blood pressure, blood sugar and weight (up to 19 lbs now). I am STILL 1cm and 50% effaced. So it is still a go for Monday morning, Dec 8.

Jonathan's work threw us a shower yesterday and my work threw us one a couple of weeks ago. We both work with wonderful people. THANKS to all of them for showering Juliette with wonderful gifts and well wishes.

Happy 3rd BIRTHDAY, Jackson!!!

Happy Birthday baby boy!!!! I can't believe you are turning 3 today. Wow it just seems like yesterday we were awaiting your arrival into this world. So much has happen in the 3 short years of your life. We love you so much and our love only continues to grow. You came into our lives on December 1, 2005 at 5:17pm. You weighed 8lbs1oz and was 21.5in long. Everyone was at the hospital awaiting your arrival and so excited. As I look back and reflect on the past 3 years i can't believe that time went by so fast. I tried my hardest to treasure every moment with you. This past year has been the most fun because you were and are so active. We have done a lot this past year including the Circus, Disney, Florida, Aquarium, Playground and Zoo. You got to play in snow for the first time. You really started to talk. WOW the memories!!!! I hope you know how much your Dad and I love you!!! I will sign off with one of your favorite phrases Jackson- "It's couts, Mommy" and boy are you. PS you call yourself "My Jackson".
