Pitter Patter of LITTLE Feet

It has finally happened. Juliette is walking. She decided when we got home from Meridian on Sunday to start letting go and walking. Since then she thinks she is hot stuff and walking is the preferred method of getting around. I am happy for her, it is a milestone of my baby growing up, so for that it is bittersweet. The funny thing is I told her Sunday morning "Juliette you have a week to start walking OR your brother bet you to walking earliest." Well little did I know she would take that challenge to heart. LOL

We also took her to the Dr for her 12 month well baby check up. The Dr walked in and said "you really have beautiful children. " Thanks Dr Darby I think so also. Juliette is growing like a weed. She showed Dr Darby her new trick of walking and pointing. She also said "Thant yu" to Dr Darby and Dr Darby clapped.

Her stats are:
20lbs 1 oz (40% )
28.5 inches (50%)
17.25 inches HC (50%)

Jackson Singing Baby Bumble Bee

OK I have promised i would post Jackson singing Baby Bumble Bee. I want to do it this year, I just got under the wire on that. So consider it a gift from me. LOL!! I love to listen to him sing this song. Enjoy.

Merry Christmas 2009

We had a wonderful Christmas. WOW we are truly blessed with all the people who love us. AND WOW my kids are spoiled, LOL!!! Santa visited the kids at the Taylor household. Santa was very good to the kids. Juliette must have heard Santa that night because she cried off and on ALL night BUT Santa did bring her her two front teeth, LOL. Jackson woke up and forgot about Santa until we reminded him then i think he was scared and very cautious but he he quickly snapped out of it. Jackson got his Optimus Prime Transformer and his Train, along with a few others item. His favorite being the Thomas Christmas DVD (which the elves picked up at Walgreen's right before the sleigh took off for $10 reindeer bucks, hahahaha). Juliette received her Tinkerbell doll (2) and teddy bear, also along with a few other things. All of which Jackson loved playing with while Juliette played with Jackson's toys. Poppa G and Gran B gave Jackson a nice portable DVD player, bumblebee transformer arm, and some clothes. They gave Juliette an American Girl with accessories, one of which was a dog named Sugar. (That was my mother's beloved dog whom passed this past year.) They also gave her a small fold out couch which was her favorite toy. We spent the entire morning enjoying Santa's loot and spending time with the Taylor's. We then ate the BEST Christmas Meal i believe i have ever had. MMMMMM, it was delicious; turkey, dressing, mac n cheese, green bean casserole, rolls and sweet potato casserole. After we ate we headed over to the Partridge household to partake in another slaughter of Christmas presents. Both kids enjoyed themselves with all the presents and unwrapping of them. Jackson got some more Optimus Prime Stuff (one of which is the helmet you see all of us try on) and cowboy boots. He had to put them on with the Woody PJs he had gotten from us. Juliette got a cabbage patch kid, clothes and toys. WOW what a day. Oh, Jonathan and I had a wonderful Christmas also. I gave him some stuff for his Wii, underwear, Mstate shirt, and some Mstate basketball tickets (I stuck to our agreed upon budget). Jonathan gave me a nice Lacoste Sweater, Mstate earrings and shirt, underwear and my FAVORITE THINGS were the Pandora bracelet and he turned my blog into a book. Obviously he did not stick to our budget, but i didn't get mad, LOL!!! His parents gave us a flat screen TV for our bedroom. My parents gave us towels, shoes, firesafe box and clothes. So as you can see we are blessed beyond measure.
The loot!

Is this real?

Let the unwrapping begin!!!

Jackson "helping" everyone open their gifts. HE basically opened EVERYONE'S gifts.
MORE TOYS!!!

Trying to get some good pictures turned out almost impossible.
"Autobots roll out"
"Howdy Partner" "There's a snake in my BOOTS!"

We went to a Christmas Party at my friend Danica's house the weekend before Christmas. The party was for the kids and Jackson really enjoyed himself with karaoke, jump house, wiener roast and a visit from Santa.

Jackson and Juliette had a party at school that Friday before Christmas and never got around to posting pics. The two women are Jackson's new teachers, Ms Emily and Ms Collette. Yes that is Juliette enjoying a Cheeto and yes it was in her hair. So here you go.

Visiting Santa

What can I say!? One kid loves him the other one hates him. Can you guess which is which? LOL!!! Jackson runs and hugs his neck and tells him "I want a Transformer Optimus Prime and a train like Thomas. Sister wants a Tinkerbell and teddy bear" Then I placed Juliette down, which i had to pull her away from her death grip around my neck, and she screams bloody murder. OH WHAT FUN!!! I am late posting this but Santa was very kind to both of them and brought them what Jackson asked him for (both for him and sister). This picture is worth a thousand words, but the first that comes to mind is "FUNNY." I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas. We did! I will post more pictures of Christmas, this week.

Juliette's 1st Birthday PARTY

We had a great time with Juliette at her birthday party. I think she enjoyed herself. She loved opening the gifts and LOVED eating her cake. Thanks to all the family and friends who were able to attend and to those who sent their best wishes to our little girl. Jonathan, Jackson, Nana and I baked a huge cupcake for her party. Cupcake was the theme of the party. We had Edgar's bakery for the small cupcakes and her smash cake. People who attended was: Jonathan, Jackson, Nana, BunkBunk, GranB, Poppa G, Angelia, Daniel, Monnie, Aunt Donna, Granny, Aunt Linda, Shannon Wright, Joey Fields, and myself. She tore into her smash cake and ate 75% of it, she really didn't get that messy. We gave her a small buggy car and I think she loved it (and so did Jackson). We had as much fun as her (if not more). After her party the immediate family stayed (and Mitch and Lindsay) joined and we enjoyed a family cookout. MMMMMM!!

Juliette's 1st Birthday

Ok, I am a little out of order. Juliette had a fun birthday (or at least i think so). She woke up to opening presents, fell asleep after opening presents and had a party in between. Jackson had a little trouble with the concept of not being able to open a gift but we will work through that. Let's just say good thing Juliette really didn't care (hahahahaha). I can't believe it has a been a year.

The following pictures at the party at her daycare. She had a ball eating cupcakes. PLUS I am classifying this as her first official steps. She took more then one step, it was more like 5 or 6.

Christmas Card 2009

This is our Christmas card this year. I love it! We only ordered 30 and i wish i would have ordered more because i had to make a new one and it is good but not as good as this one. If you didn't get a card, it's probably on its way or i don't have your address. So please send me your address so i can get one out to you (you being the 10 readers who read this, lol). Sorry for the poor quality i had to scan it in.

I wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS and wonderful NEW YEAR. My family and I would like to thank everyone for all their support in our lives. Sometimes we forget to say Thank You and We love you. So I am saying it now WE LOVE YOU and THANK YOU!!! We would also like to thank God for his many blessings he has given us.

Jackson loves Jingle Bells and Juliette loves to dance to it. So here is me singing Jingle Bells! LOL, I'll just type it. My kids are the only one who can appreciate my singing. I love to sing to them at night and love the Christmas Carols. I love to hold them and sign to them because i know that it won't last long.

Jingle Bells (first verse and chorus)

Dashing through the snow
In a one-horse open sleigh
O'er the fields we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on bobtail ring
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to ride and sing A sleighing song tonight
(chorus)
: Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way;
Oh! what fun [joy] it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh.
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way;
Oh! what fun [joy] it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh:

Here is the history of this song. Pretty interesting. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jingle_Bells

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY JULIETTE

Our little girl is one today. She has brought so much joy to us. She is a little ray of sunshine. Ok I will continue the tradition of posting the number of things (as the number of months, 12 month=12 things) we want to remember about Juliette.

1. You took 5 whole steps today. So i will call that walking on your birthday. You walked from me to your teacher, Ms Becky. YAY!!!! You are still the faster crawler. You are quick!

2. You love giving and blowing kisses. It is so sweet. You do it so much that at Sam's the other day a group of ladies walked by and started talking to you and you started blowing kisses. To cute.

3. I believe you are the cutest baby on earth. I am partial but i truly believe you are a beautiful baby.

4. You love eating big people food. I believe i am done buying baby food.

5. We put you in a car seat (not the pumpkin seat). We could turn you around but you being so small i have chosen to leave you facing backwards, we will take this day by day.

6. You are spoiled rotten. HAHAHHAHA. We did it to you and it is not always a bad thing. ;)

7. You love to play with anything that your brother is playing with. You love to take something when he is not looking.

8. You are not a loner. I believe you will be a social butterfly. You can't stand for us to walk out of a room without you.

9. When you hear music or anyone singing to you you bounce up and down like your dancing.

10. You are smart. You know your socks and shoes go on your feet, your arms go in your jacket, the thermometer in your ear. These are just examples. You are a genius. HAHAHA!!

11. We can't decide if you are going to mean or sweet. You like to "hit" but you love to give hugs and kisses. I hope you pick the sweet route. But your brother loves to "love" on you. His "love" id hugging you until you fall down and scream. He is trying to be sweet but doesn't understand this may hurt. So we will see how this turns out. But you love your brother. You are still a Momma's girl and i love that about you.

12. You hate Santa. You scream your head off when you get near him. I don't know rather to laugh or cry with you. I hope this passes. But it is funny.

As anyone can read you are an active little girl. We are truly blessed to have you in our lives. We love you!!

Here are some pictures the day Juliette was born and her birth announcement. Wow she was fat (but cute) when she was born, lol.

Your very first picture.

Here are some recent photos.

Polar Express 2009

We had a wonderful time on the Polar Express. The whole family wore matching PJs. The train picked us up and we sat in the silver maple train. While we rode on our trip to the North Pole we listened to the Polar Express book. We also sang Christmas Carols, Jackson and Juliette both ed loved Jingle Bells the best. Juliette would dance when she heard it. Jackson keep singing it over and over again. When we arrived at the North Pole Santa was standing outside in the freezing weather (literally, it snowed later on that night). Santa, Mrs Claus, and his elves joined us on the train where Jackson got to tell Santa he wants a transformer "optius prme" aka optimus prime and a train like Thomas. Juliette on the other hand screamed her head off. As we rode away from the North Pole we enjoyed cookies and milk. The kids also got their first gift of the season, a polar express ornament, and they each got a bell. Also the conductor came to visit Jackson. Jackson yelled "All Aboard". I believe both kids enjoyed them selves. This is something I will look forward to doing again next year.

(Yes that is Juliette screaming, LOL!!)

This is for you Gran B. Gran B introduces all of us to the Polar Express. You are in our thoughts and prayers, WE LOVE YOU!!

Jackson's 4th Birthday

Jackson turned 4 on Dec 1. It is hard to believe. I love him so much and have enjoyed being his mother. We had a busy day that day. He woke up to us singing Happy Birthday to him and opening gifts from us and Aunt Pam. He got a Thomas the Train chair, book bag, DVDs and a book. Nana and Bunk called to wish him a Happy Birthday. He went to school and we had a party for him there. We went to eat at Johnny Rockets to eat where he had a cheeseburger and a birthday sundae and they sung Happy Birthday to him. Then he talked to Gran B and Poppa G where they him happy birthday and to tell him that Danny Wuerffel had wished him a Happy Birthday also. Then he opened more presents, he got a Rocky the Talking Truck and Thomas PJs. He was exhaust as was I. THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR MAKING HIS BIRTHDAY WONDERFUL!!!!

Outside Fall Fun

The weekend of Thnaksgiving it was beautiful outside. Plus we stomped Ole Miss in Football. So we went outside to enjoy the sunshine and of course i took my camera.

Thanksgiving 2009

Ok i am out of sync on posting. But i wanted to make sure to get the pictures up.

We enjoyed Thanksgiving at Monnie and Pappaw's this year. We had a good time seeing everyone. IT is hard to live away from family because you miss seeing everyone. We truly have a lot to be Thankful for and a lot of people who we love and love us. That night we said a little prayer for all our blessings.

First Day of 4K and 4yr Old Stats

Jackson started 4K today. My big boy! His new teachers are Ms Collette and Ms Emily. We look forward to this new adventure for him.Listening to his DVD (Thomas) on the way to school.

Out in front of the school.

We took Jackson to the Dr this morning for his 4yr old check up and everything is fine. He passed both his hearing and sight examines. He weighed in at a whopping 44lbs and is 43 inches tall. This puts him in the 97% for his age. The Dr commented on how well his speech was improving. Thank god, we have worked hard on this.
