Bragging on Jackson

I am so proud of Jackson. He is getting so big and what i consider to be smart (genius if you ask me, LOL). He is really starting to take an interesting in reading and writing. This morning i was getting Juliette ready and he was playing with his doddle pad. He asked me to spell his name for him (he knows how but sometimes gets confused). So i started spelling as he drew and below is the result. I was surprised because usually you have to draw it first then he goes below and tries to do what was just done. But he did this by himself!!! GO JACKSON!!!

This outfit that Juliette has on is one that her Nana appliqued for her. WOW at her hair, LOL!! And as you can see she is standing unassisted, i foresee walking anyday now!!!

Look how handsome my BABY is!

Juliette - 11 months Old

Well our little girl is 11 months old. She is a bundle of joy. She is still a Momma's girl. She is constantly amazing me in her abilities.

Here are 11 things I want to remember.

1. She is starting to get a personality to her. It seems to be one of being a Miss Pris. She can already give looks that could kill. When you tell her no she sticks her lip out and starts crying (she learned this quickly from her brother). Also when you tell her no she shakes her head back and forth indicating nono.

2. She has 4 teeth. The bottom 2 front teeth and the top 2 "fang" teeth. She looks like a vampire, LOL!

3. She is starting to stand on her, until she realize she is doing it and then she sits down.

4. She is the world's fastest crawler. I guess since she has been crawling, what seems like forever (4months at least), she is pretty proficient in it. So much for walking early, thank god!

5. She loves to eat normal food. Her favorite is any type of bread. But she also likes carrots, corn, green beans, and macaroni.

6. She loves to crawl under the coffee table and play with anything her brother plays with. She will try and take it from him or wait until he is finish and in a sly move go get the toy and run (aka crawl real fast). She still puts everything in her mouth, so i am sure this relates to teething.

7. She is a climber. She can crawl upstairs. Before anyone panics we put up a baby gate when needed but check number 11. She loves to climb on Jackson's little chair.

8. She still LOVES her brother.... and he loves her. He loves to "hug" on her and she just smiles when he walks into a room.

9. You can give her a shoe or a sock and she tries to put them on her feet. I was shocked the first time she did this.

10. Her favorite word is "Uh-oh" but "Dada" and "Mama" is starting to pick up. She loves to drop objects and say uh-oh and then she wants you to pick them up so she can drop them again. This is her favorite game, which i am sure is the universal baby game. I could swear she says a form of thank you. I now this is weird but since she has been able to hold thing and pass them to you, we would say "thank you" to her and clap. Now you hand her something or viceversa and she claps and makes a "thntu" noise. I now it sounds weird but it happens.
11. SHE IS AN ESCAPE ARTIST!!! This child has figured out the child gate and will wiggle it out of the way and crawl under it. It is amazing but also frustrating. We have to really watch her.

As you can read we are busy keeping up with her and Jackson. BUT we would haven't any other way. God has truly blessed us!!!

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop?

That we will never know! Our sweet little innocent baby girl found the candy. When we caught her she had already chewed through the wrapping of the Tootsie Roll Pop and it was so darn cute it just took the wrapper off and let her lick some more. I know i am a bad mother. I did however stop the incoming pixie stix and oreos. She ended up throwing the sucker back in the bucket (which i threw in the garbage) and I cleaned her up. Like she need any sugar to be any sweeter. LOL!!!

Mmmmmm!!!!
You caught me!!

Let's see what else I can get!! (NO WAY)
Look at all this!!
Yummy!!!

"Trick-or-Treating"

We had a blast last night, as Jackson said "Trick-or-Treating". Juliette went to a couple of houses, then her and Jonathan went home to pass out candy and of course watch football. (Go dawgs!!!) Jackson had a ball and tried to do every house in the neighborhood. But Mommy was cold so after a couple of hours he gave in. Only because he wanted to pass out candy also. He got a lot of candy, we (yes we) will be eating on it for weeks. Optimus prime would not keep his mask on so next year no mask.

Pumpkin Carving 2009

We carved pumpkins Wednesday and Thursday before Halloween. Jonathan did most of the carving. The kids and I finger painted. Jonathan did a great job of a ghost and bat. Jackson had fun taking the stuff out. I tried to roast pumpkin seeds but they didn't turn out so good. We should have let Juliette be a vampire for Halloween because she has her fang teeth and that's all on top. When she wrinkles her nose she looks like a vampire, LOL!!!!
