And We Are UP.....

Juliette pulled herself up tonight. She did it on Jackson little blue chair. She just amazes me. Now if I could ask everyone to pray (or a moment of silence) for Jonathan and I as we get ready to have 2 on the go, LOL!!!

A TOOTH

Juliette has finally gotten her first tooth. YEPPIE!!! IT is on the bottom right (if looking at her). FINALLY!! But wow has she been cranky and the past couple of night we have been lacking in the sleep area but well worth it!!! No pictures because she won't let me look but you can feel it.

Juliette 8 months

OK! Our sweet little girl is 8 months old (and a week, I'm a little posting). I can't believe it. She has brought a lot of joy. We love her with all of our hearts. This month has been busy but i believe this is the calm before the storm. Here are the 8 things I want to remember about you, Juliette.

1. Your smile brightens up a room. You are an extremely smiley baby. Strangers even comment how beautiful your smile is. You have also learned how to wave and it is the cutest thing ever.

2. You are really getting the hang of army crawling and getting up on your knees for a few. Daycare says you are crawling over people(babies) to get to where you want to go. You also can go from a crawl to a sitting position.

3. You are really enjoy "solid" foods. You love peas and bananas. Sweet potatoes are just ok. Puffs are rapidly becoming a must and they all over you when you finish. Also everything and anything you find still goes straight to the mouth. We started giving you juice and sippy cup, you are not quite sure about this but i know you will.

4. You love to scream. The scream is a happy scream, i think you are just discovering you have a voice. You still are saying "Buyby", "Mamama" and "Dadada". I am not quiet sure if you are associating who is Momma and Dada. But you say Buyby when leaving or arriving somewhere.

5. You enjoy for anyone to sing around you. You usually will start "humming". It is so sweet.

6. Your favorite person is still Jackson. He is the only who can make you laugh and giggle with out him trying. Go figure!

7. Momma has spoiled you rotten. If i walk by you and you are sitting, you will SCREAM for me to pick you up.

8. You still don't have any teeth (as of 8/15/09).

We love you Juju. May you always be as happy as you are as a baby. We look forward to whats next.

"It's Broken"

I had to tell this story in a separate post because it was to funny to get lost in the shuffle of the previous long post. This weekend was filled with sickness. Well Saturday morning Jackson was just about to eat breakfast when he looked at me and this conversation began.

Jackson: "Momma"
Me (Momma): "Yes baby"
Jackson: "It's broken"
Me: "What's broken, Jackson?"
Jackson: "My nose"

He was so serious it took everything inside me and Jonathan for us not to bust out laughing. Oh, the things they say and the way they think.

WHAT A WEEK!!!!! (VERY long post)

Wow a lot can happen in a week. Last week proves it. Do you ever feel like you are waiting for the other shoe to fall. Well I am waiting. They say things happen in 3 well i can only pray that 2 is enough. I will start with the story of the first thing.
Event#1
Tuesday Night around 7 pm Jackson is in the tub and Juliette is screaming her head off. Juliette is upset for several reasons. One being she did not want her earlier bottle and she was hungry but it was about time for night time bottle so i refused to feed her to early. The other thing being this is her fussy time usually and she is not a happy camper normally around this time. The third thing she is teething so who knows when this will stop. Forth thing is she has a cold (part of the next story) and a have to suck her nose out. So as you can read she was UNHAPPY. Jackson on the other hand was a happy camper in the tub, playing. Jonathan was washing a load of clothes. When he cam back in the bathroom Jackson had dumped the WHOLE bottle of soap in the tub. A lot of bubble but nothing that could have been taken care of but i had just told him the night before to not do that. So at 7:45pm in he was put to bed early because of his actions. So I heard "Momma, MOOOOOMMMMMMMA, Momma, etc......" for about an hour. During this i had manged to get Juliette ready for bed and put her down for the night. Well Jonathan was fixing our alarm and it keep going on and off. But at around 9pm Jackson finally calmed down and was quiet. SO I THOUGHT!!! At 9:15 I hear this blood curdling screaming. I actually thought it was Juliette until I noticed which monitor it was coming from. So I RAN upstairs, flung open his door while saying "Jackson, I am about...." as I turned the light on and noticed his head stuck in between the headboard and window and. I then let out a "JACKSON" as Jonathan comes running up the stairs. He was standing on his bed with his head over the top of the headboard. I had managed to unstuck his head before Jonathan got upstairs. After the initial comforting of Jackson and putting him back into bed, I start to think "What the HE** was he thinking?" You see this could have not happen on accident he had to purposely stick his head in there. I guess I'll never know. But he is fine he was just a little shock up. But on the positive side he has not done that again and maybe he won't, LOL. Humorous now but scary then. She if you can imagine him!!

Wednesday night I got my camera equipment out and took some shots of the kiddos. I think I did a good job considering, I am free. LOL!! The only thing I paid was my sanity. Try taking picture of an almost 8 month old (Crawler) and 3.5 year old(wildman). So that being said I did a great job.

Event#2
See I think one event per week is more then enough. But i undoubtedly have made someone very angry and they feel as if i needed two to make sure everything is right in the world. LOL!

Thursday when i picked Juliette up from Daycare I noticed that her breathing was a little different. Enough to be concerned but nothing that couldn't wait until the next morning when i could get her to the doctor. She had a cold since that weekend but no fever or green stuff coming out of the nose. So I told Jonathan that I was going to take her in the morning to see her doctor. Well her breathing started getting a little bit more bothersome. I gave her her bottle and she only took about half (very unusual) and a put her in her bed with the humidifier on. Well I crawled into bed at about 9:45pm and said a special prayer that night, asking god to watch over her tonight and if her breathing got worst to wake me up. WELL, he answer my prayer because at 10:30 pm a heard this horrible cough and gasping for air. I ran into her room to find her having a really hard time breathing. As I called the nurse line to ask what I needed to I got ready and gathered some stuff with the full expectation of going to the ER. Well i was right the nurse informed us to go straight to the ER and if needed she would call an ambulance. I turned that down on rushed to the ER we arrive at 11:15pm. We had no waiting. The only thing is we had to go through a metal detector and wait for them to check our bag (I know baby having a hard time breathing should give us a pass, but no). The nurses and doctors were great and rapidly got the situation under control. But the Dr said she had "A VARY ACUTE CASE OF CROUP" and since she was so little and it was so bad we would be admitted to the hospital that night. When I tell you it was scary I truly don't know how else to describe it. She ended up having to have to rounds of breathing treatments and some steroids. She was releases Friday around 1 pm. Then when Jackson woke up on Friday he was running fever and had a bad cough. Jonathan took him to the Dr and he was diagnosed with the same thing but since he was older it would not be as bad. So Friday night we were up with him having difficulty breathing and running fever of 102. Both are a lot better now. Don't get me wrong I know this stuff may be minor in the whole scheme but this is the closest I ever want to come to being in Children's as a patient. They treated us wonderful but I really don't ever want to have to go back for medical reasons again. But if i have to at least I know what a great place it is.

I would also like to say I truly believe God woke me up that night to hear my baby and for that I live in his Mercy. Thank you God for watching over my children and please guide me in raising them in your mercy (and hopefully healthy and safely).
Please other shoe please don't fall. LOL! Wait two things happened so maybe that was the other shoe. Ok, so hopefully things don't happen in three.

Lazy Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend of doing nothing. We went to the playground on Sunday. Jackson loved it but we got mixed emotions from Juliette. As we were driving away from the playground Jackson says "Momma, my hair is wet!" It was hot to say the least.
